In this “taut psychosocial drama” (Variety), a Palestinian man and an Israeli woman are caught together in the wrong place at the wrong time. Their extramarital affair is revealed, shattering the framework of lies on which their relationship is built and triggering a disastrous chain of events that forces them to deal with much more than their broken marriages. Understated yet riveting, the film features impressive, naturalistic performances. The second feature from the Alayan brothers, it’s sharply written and impressively acted. Winner of several awards at festivals from Durban to Rotterdam to Seattle.
